Once upon a time in the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa, our love story began when Cornelia visited from Sweden. She was under the firm belief that there were no hot men in South Africa.

That theory was quickly proven wrong when she went to spectate a CrossFit competition her mum was participating in. Dante happened to be competing in the same event and he just so happened to take off his shirt (naturally), hoping Cornelia might take notice. Let’s just say... mission accomplished.

What started as a chance meeting quickly blossomed into countless dates, filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. There were definitely tears when it was time to say goodbye.

We spent months connecting online and eventually bridged the distance when Dante moved to Germany. We took the opportunity to travel around Europe and Dante soon became part of the Karlsson family and all our Swedish traditions.

Eventually, Dante had enough of the cold and we decided to settle back down in beautiful Cape Town, where our hearts found a home and our journey together truly began
